These guys were great, and I think I may have dated the mando player in another life. The Northwest Folklife Festival is in full swing at Seattle Center through Labor Day. . . oh wait, you're right! Through Memorial Day! It only seems like it will be through Labor Day because this city really is one big rolling festival after another until the end of summer. It does seem like much of the city's population is there enjoying the fab weather, food, exhibits and plentiful music.

Haha, errors upon errors. Did you buy the CD? I love that you "might" have dated the mando player in another life. I love the shot, too. And what it evokes.

Sounds like the perfect place for a photographer to spend a few hours.

What a place to take pictures. I like the sign too.

As you've probably guessed, my kind of image. Musicians I could photograph everyday. Nicely played with angle to add interest too.

The are delightful. Glad to see the young guys playing folk too. The guy with the bass(?) guitar is such a cutie.

I braved it for a bit yesterday, but it was just too crowded for me!

Glad to see you were able to visit Folklife this weekend. I intended to, but never made it. Spending more days working at the Market has cut into my time to roam. Not to mention the more numerous home chores when the sun is out and encouraging things to grow.

Hope all is well in your part of the city -:)
