iPhone Wednesday #18: We Remember

iPhone Wednesday #17: We Remember

This iPhone Wednesday shot comes from Victoria, BC, where I am visiting. I caught sight of these poppies in a shop window last night. Today I attended the colorful and touching Canadian Remembrance Day ceremonies in the bright sunlight. With thoughts of my mom, dad, two brothers, and four uncles, all of whom served in the armed forces during various conflicts, and honoring the memories of all those who gave their lives in service to their countries.

Kim, it's a beautiful photo of a lovely arrangement. As a child, poppies were very popular on Armistice Day. Now, I never see them; haven't been around for years.
