I was out for a walk on an absolutely gorgeous balmy spring afternoon and came upon these folks soaking in the view and the warm sun on the lawn at the Betty Bowen viewpoint in tiny Marshall Park. This typifies our joy at the lengthening days and the beauty that surrounds every part of this city. To see the view in the direction they were looking and a few more shots, please visit my More Seattle Stuff page.
This is my iPhone Wednesday shot for the week (wow, 40th week now!) where the shot is taken and edited with the iPhone and various fun apps.

I really like the postcard feel of this.
The scene, as well as the quality of the image and color, look very 50s (except we didn't drink water in plastic bottles then). Of course, it looks like a polaroid. Nice effect.
Great shot and work. It looks like a very old photo.
Thanks guys. The app is called Hipstamatic. I used the John S lens and the 69 film (not a pola-look but a 70s era effect, I think.

Definitely a northwest kind of day. Great find Kim.
How glorious this is. There's something about sitting on grass with a view that is totally relaxing - the feel of the grass, the earth beneath.
