I just learned my friend Mitchell won an Emmy for his score for the four part television documentary, "Saving the Bay." Although he's a USC grad, I thought I'd salute him as well his fabulously talented fam of wonderful vocalists, Laurel, MacKenzie (Withworth!!!), and Emma, with these shots I took of the University of Washington's School of Music. Here's to all the musicians, composers, songwriters, and singers, who grace our lives with such richness and beauty.
The UW School of Music sits directly opposite and mirrors the buildings of the School of Art at the top of the Quad. I took these shots in the warm glow of a spring sunset.

Ta-dah! (That's me on a cyberhorn.) Congratulations to your friend! Love the selection of UW photos.
Oh, wow! Those are beautiful photos, Kim, and congratulations to your friend, Mitchell, and Laurel, MacKenzie and Emma. Well scored! ;)
Very nice collage, Kim.
Majoring in music must be so satifying...almost as good as majoring in art. Both forms of fine art has given humankind countless hours of pure pleasure. Thanks to all the musicians and artists out there!
I echo the words of gratitude to all musicians who enrich our lives each day. And heartfelt congratulations to your friend!
Thanks guys! I'm always happy when a musician can make a living in the field and not have to have a "day job" to support the fam. Mitchell works hard and with heart at many projects and always gives his all. It's terrific to see him receive public honor for his work. He's touched my life in so many meaningful ways with his talent and passion and inspired and directed many of my friends. His wife and daughters are amazing in their own rights, and I had the treat of hearing them all perform at Christmas last year.

Another beautiful building on that campus!
«Louis» tried to learn to play "Chopsticks" there, but there was a basic incompatibility between hooves and keyboards....not a happy situation...
Very nice collage. I too am a lover of music, most any kind. It always takes me to another place.
Wow, the building is so pretty! I love this kind — the old, beautiful buildings, which have their own story :D And this one's story must be especially awesome, considering that this is a school of music. I love music, very much, it's one of the most significant parts of my life. :)
Congratulations to all involved. What an accomplishment, and a nice tribute Kim.
Very nice tribute - love the collage Kim!
Hurrah for that!
Gorgeous photos! I had no idea this place existed. :-)
