Going green can be an uphill effort on some of our steep streets :-). I'm seeing more cyclists out and about as the days tilt from rainier to sunnier. This guy, though, I'm sure is probably out there rain or shine.

Makes my legs hurt. You certainly included a lot of green in your Going Green photo. Excellent!

Yes, I've noticed quite a few more bicycle commuters lately... just wish they would obey the traffic laws!

I remember the terror of taking those hills as a teen in a stick shift...I think I'd much rather take them on a bike!

I love how the color of his helmet and jacket blends well with the color of the wall in the background.

Great Picture!

Thanks for your very kind comments, everyone. I'm impressed that some are inspired by the shot :-). And I can completely relate to mastering a stick shift on these hills (I drive one :-), but got my chops for it while driving SF's killer hills with a stick. . .hairy scary!!!!). It's a given that I'm a wuss, but I have to get off my bike to make it the last block to my house. . .our street's grade is just a bit much for me :-). That's why I admire and watch the messengers around here so much. They are awesome iron men and women on their bikes! Thanks sincerely for stopping to comment. It's great to hear from lurkers and newbies and longtime visitors alike!
