You Couldn't Get Lost Here Even If You Tried

You might want to lose yourself walking in lovely downtown Seattle, but you'll find it hard. Even inebriated people could find their way with street names in giant bronze letters embedded in the sidewalk. Given Seattle's colorful history as a port town full of taverns, it was probably a good idea ;^). Even in residential areas one can find charming tiled street names in the sidewalks at corners (often older street names that have since changed to the numbered and directional ones used today).
