. . .in this world that mean anything to me, are conjured up by wind and sunlight sparkling on the sea. ~ B. Cockburn
Summer here in Seattle is filled with festivals and fun outdoor events every weekend, but nothing beats just walking by the water on a workday and enjoying the balmy breezes and the beautiful views. I took this shot while at the Olympic Sculpture Park, a great place for people watching.

I like your photo of people watching. I like to watch people too but am not sure why I like to do that. I don't know if I am looking at the person and what they are wearing or if it is their clothes, or hat, or swagger. Something about watching people must go back to the beginnings.

This is such a great photo, love the light reflecting off the water.
Like your new page layout a lot. It's much easier to read the text. Pretty cool header, too. You even got the seaplane, heading into Lake Union, I assume.
I am envious of Seattle when I see pictures like this. If I really wanted to, I could go out at lunchtime into the summertime oven and walk along the Mississippi. You have Elliott Bay with the Olympics in the distance. We got East St. Louis on the far bank. Oh well, I still get to visit from time to time.

The diamond sparkles on the water--very appealing!
