Nothing But Blue Sky

Nothing But Blue Sky

While walking downtown I looked up to see the setting sun warming what looks to be travertine marble tiles on this building's facade, while the cool blue sky seemed to pass right through the building. No post processing of this shot, it's what my eye saw through the lens.

"Blue skies, smiling at me..." and now I can't recall the rest of the words to that song. Love this photo; I am always attracted to pure, clean lines and colors.

Stunning photo! The combo of the evening light on the building and perfect blue reflection in the windows is remarkable. Wait, you have blue skies in Seattle?

You are right, it looks like the deep blue sky travels through the building.

Oh how fabulous! That graduating light - just superb - almost like a jewel.

Man Seattle has been having an amazing run of sun. How many days has it been since it has rained (or even been remotely cloudy), we must be near a record.

You have such an eye for seeing what I generally miss, but I'm learning! I was noticing how pretty this blue looks with this travertine. (Idea for bathroom makeover!)

I like this one a lot!!! It's simple and gorgeous. The texture of the building is beautiful.

It does have that post processing look to it, though and that is what makes it so stunning. This is one of my favourite themes.
