Here is a Monday abstraction to start off the work week. . .bleary eyed as we all surely are in the US from arising earlier. The colors and shapes of building and sky reflections in the multifacited Central Seattle Public Library captured my attention, especially the grid upon grid of waving colors in the lower left. I've shown this library to you here eight times in the last three years, including my very first post in 2006. I haven't featured the library since October of 2007 so here is a ninth view along with the previous ones (click # to view): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Which is your fave? Hope you are having a good Monday!

Well, I haven't made it thorough all the library photos, but you will know that I will love all of them as I love all things library. I will come back when it actually is Monday and I have had some sleep because I was captivated when we toured the SPL a couple of years ago.
And as I am starting to sound more than a bit befuddled, I am off to sleep.
It is a striking photograph. The reflections are different.
Very nice---it looks like a water color. MB
You do this so very well. Love this refelction shot. It's just gorgeous. I like that neon below as well. I got behind on my visits but I"m catching up with all of your great photos!

PS My word ver. is DIVATI!
This is great . Lots of lines and reflections to look at.
OK, I've looked at all of them, I really like the escalator, the carpet and this one, but my favourite is probably the reflection!
Wow, what a fantastic shot! I've tried and tried to take photos of this building and have never succeeded this well!
I just adored the library when I visited last summer. I try to send all my co-workers that are on travel in the area to see it. The nice people at the gift shop made sure I saw the red floor. This is such an unusual shot - it's amazing!
Amazing, Kim! I wonder if that's what the world looks like to a fly?
Beautifully composed. I really do like this one a lot.
