Sunday Bridge #17: Desception Pass Revisited

I showed you this graceful arch a few months ago. We recently drove over the duel bridges that span Deception Pass three times in one week, so I had to share it with you again. Although the skies were gray and rainy, the waters below were a beautiful color. See all the Sunday Bridges participants' shots here.

What a great shot - I must admit I love bridges.

Just discovered your blog - it's fantastic! Thanks for sharing - I'll be visiting often. As a writer and more, I live often in the world of words. It's very relaxing to visit your world of pictures. I've been following a friend's photoblog, but have been frustrated with his irregular sporadic posting. It's good to have landed here.

When the water is that color of green/aqua, who cares about the color of the sky! Great perspective in this shot with the architectural detail of the bridge

Davine, I think Louis la Vache started a great meme.

Theresa, welcome and thanks so much for your kind comments. I hope you will explore some of my CDPB friends' photoblogs, too. There is a rich world of images and friends out there :-).

Genie, Thanks so much! This bridge is in such a gorgeous natural setting, I love getting up there.

I actually think this is a really beautiful photo! I also think that the angle you took on this one was creative...it's cool how the rails gradually magnify as they approach the foreground.

«Louis» is delighted that you've shown this bridge again. He's late making his Sunday Bridge rounds because he's been working farmers markets all weekend.

You did this beautiful bridge justice-- I love the angle you chose. The water is an unusual color in this shot-- it looks almost glacial. I feel blessed to have this lovely spot so close by!
