The pleasures of early spring in Seattle include bright Forsythia, always a joy to see against a blue or a gray sky. I spied these blossoms on a walk through the Hawthorn Hills neighborhood, which is between the University District and Sand Point.

Great blog Kim :) I have recently moved to Seattle, and in fact live at Sand Point. It's my first spring in the US and I'm very fascinated by the whole process, it's so pretty!

The petals look almost transparent, your spring seems so soft and delicate!
