Never shy on any of its 10 floors when it comes to the use of bold color, Seattle's amazing downtown  Central Library features a raspberry sherbert color treatment in this media and play area of its huge children's room on the ground floor. It's a good place to hang out until a brief August storm clears outdoors. This shot goes out to dear Brattcat :-).

What a wonderful gift to open this morning. Thank you, Kim! I love every inch of this library and your shot today brings back a whole raft of happy memories.

It has been a very long time since I've spent any time in the downtown Seattle library... it is time I visited again... thanks for the prompting Kim!

Cool photo of a very creative space. Looks like a great place to hang out, kid or adult!
