First Hill Streetscape

A couple walks their dog in the First Hill neighborhood, an area where Seattle's first wealthy European-American settlers built their homes in the 1890s. It is now home to St. James Cathedral and Seattle University as well as several hospitals including Harborview Medical Center, Swedish Hospital, and Virginia Mason Medical Center, giving the neighborhood the popular name of "Pill Hill."

Isn't that trio crossing the street in front of the Sorrento Hotel? I love that place--and I recognize the palm trees! Thanks for sending me back with this image.

Anonymous, It sure is. Good eye. I didn't mention it because the ambulance blocks its view.
