A woman pauses on a walk around Green Lake with her tiny dog. You can just see the Space Needle in the distance through those trees. Lots of people have been out and about the past couple days, walking, running, riding bikes, taking advantage of the break in the weather and perhaps making room for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday :-). Inspiration for the title of this post comes from the Rob Wasserman/Bob Weir band of the same name.
iPhone Wednesday #20: Not Rat Dog
I forgot it was Wednesday when I posted the photo above, so today will be a bonus photo day. This gorgeous dog was small and compact, maybe a quarter the size of a Husky, but a great deal more substantial than the tiny handful in the shot above. It was sitting outside a Queen Anne cafe waiting for its humans. It's my iPhone Wednesday shot for you, where I take the photo and edit it with apps in the iPhone. Be sure to check out Chuck's scooter on a roof iPhone shot today, and if you find Ming of Bangor Daily Photo, let me know. . .he's gone missing since last Wednesday's iPhone shot.

Oh my gosh, that is a tiny little thing. This really is a beautiful shot Kim. Nice job.
this is beautiful & I bet that little rat is actually very cute up close!
I just love this one & was thinking how masterfully it's done by letting the viewer find the details little by little. This is something that amateurs don't do well - I'd be zooming in on the girl and miss the whole big beautiful scene.
Beautiful photo, Kim...and I like the little rat dog. The older I get, the smaller I like my dogs!
What a glorious photograph, Kim. Tash's comment hit home with me. I'm guilty of that - zooming in and missing the big picture - something I've realised over the last weeks. Nothing wrong with zoomed photos but a pity when you miss something better as I have done - and you certainly haven't!
Wonder if people with tiny dogs know we call them rat dogs! Love the dog in your smaller photo.
Left a message on Ming's Facebook page.
Oh, my Kim. You've definitely gone to the dogs with this post. So glad you did.
The second photo has my vote because I cannot resist dogs, of any breed! Loved the space needle in the distance, too!
That top photo is drop dead gorgeous. I don't care for tiny "yipping" dogs either!! Who knows where Ming is off to. HE's a threat to travel you know.

Ming is fine - hasn't posted cos he's not inspired, so glad to know he's not sick. Good you mentioned him and we've checked up.
We take make room for TG dinner by taking advantage of an organized 10K called the Turkey Trot Thursday morning. We're in the Phoenix area to have TG with some of our kids. (Daughter and SIL do the 10K, the rest of us mostly do the two mile walk option.)
Hi Kim, I'm still around. Am just not feeling inspired lately and haven't been out taking photos.
I suspect I've covered almost EVERYTHING there is to cover on Bangor. :-(
I will most likely continue posting the iPhone Wednesday.
Thanks for your concern.
iphone #20 looks to be a Shiba Inu. they are amazing dogs, i know, i have one!
Kim, thanks for your Greenlake photo. I gaze at this scene and feel myself there with the smells and the evening settling in.
(Yes, the tiny detail of the lady with the very tiny pup is wonderful. Here in New Mexico those of us with heartier pups--mine is border collier/aussie mix--would not dream of using terms such as "rat dog," for we are the odds ones out, surrounded as we are by people with all sorts & varieties of tiny doggies and by their owners, who recoil from our beasties as from monsters of the jungle.
Love the sunset photo, very beautifully done. And I like the little Husky too, looks like he was posing.
what a fantastic image!
