When You Live Near Lots of Water and Boats

. . .you are going to have to wait for drawbridges fairly frequently from May to October. The road ahead is sticking straight up in the air. The road bed in the section that opens is made of steel grating. This is the Ballard Bridge (15th Ave. NW) which crosses the ship canal between Queen Annel /Interbay /Magnolia and the Ballard neighborhood.

Wishing everyone a restful and pleasant summer Saturday!

You had me stumped. Without the commentary, I would never have guessed what this was. Real engrossing.

I like this picture. It is unusual and shows an interest combination of patterns and lights.
