. . .stop already, wouldja! Is this redundancy, or just the place where they grow all the signs (as one of my Flickr viewers guessed)? These signs are used in the Sounder train yard in the SODO district, just behind Safeco Field.

Why blue, aren't stop signs, even if not octagonal, usually red? It does look like a flower garden of blue stops:)

Wow, those blues zing, especially with that wonderful sky. Love the shot, Kim - kinda funny.

CIN, I haven't a clue. I'm hoping someone in the know with railroads can explain not only why blue but why constructed this way with one horizontal and one vertical on each rod. . .and who/what are the signs admonishing to stop?

Jilly, Thanks! And those blue signs were next to some Sounder cars painted blue, aqua and white. Very pretty sight that stopped me in my tracks. That zing of yellow sealed the deal. This morning we woke up to light scattered rain and dramatic clouds. I was hoping for another bright blue sky day. Like you have every day in Menton, non? :-)

It's kind of like when people write in CAPS LOCK.

I get it already.
