I was on the way to the airport when I took this. I played with a crystal effect in Picnic and liked the hint of granular pointillism it offered to a mundane scene. It has been a really busy five days or so. I hope to catch up with myself soon. Hope your work week is going okay, and maybe, just maybe some of you are enjoying Cinco de Mayo festivities. Our very best wishes continue to go out to Mexico City which has been basically shut down for a time. By the way, Mexico City has been very artistically represented for many years by Carraol, whom I consider to be one of the most creative and technically great photographers among all the CDPB global community of photo friends. He sometimes uses sophisticated post processing in his work and if you haven't ever visited his site, give yourself a treat and head over for five or ten minutes and let him show you the many beautiful facets of the world's most populous city. :-).

Nice work, it does add a lot to the photo.
I had to blink once or twice before I read your text and saw you'd tweaked the photo! Clever, and I sure hope they let people walk the viaduct before it comes down...I guess I'm too optimistic to think it will happen when I am there.
I did head over to Mexico City and share your opinion.
Your title almost sounds like a Grouch Marx joke:)
I agree with you about Carraol in Mexico City. His photos are always interesting and sometimes exceptional.
Thanks for the link to Carraol. It brings the swine flu situation so much more into focus with real people. We must celebrate Cinco de Mayo and remember our friends to the south.
I am going to look up Picnic too -- always interesting in learning about different programs.
Nice shot & effect. I love Picnik. So much you can do there.
Hmmm reminds me of all the times I've left Seattle with a heavy heart! Carraol's Mexico is a fantastic site I discovered awhile back, I'm with you on this one!
I guess you have to keep those pictures of the Viaduct in a safe place if they destroy it...
