I took this with my iPhone outside of Blue C Sushi in University Village. Clever landscaping created a blue rock or glass illusion of flowing water through bedding plants. Creativity really is everywhere you look! The restaurant serves sushi plates on a circling conveyor that surrounds the chefs, imitating the floating boat sushi restaurants of yesteryear with a contemporary Kaiten twist. It's like a sushi automat without the glass doors ;^).

Nice fake brook! I've never been to the Blue C, but there's a sushi bar on Queen Anne where my daughter takes me....forgot the name, but they also have the conveyor belt.
Creativity, that's for sure. And those colours are gorgeous. Lovely, Kim!
How neat. I have a friend who did a similar piece in his yard. MB
I love the lines in this. Beautiful shot.
If the iPhone can take pictures like that who needs all this "professional equipment". Kim, nice processing job to vignette the edges and focus us on the "stream".
I'll pass on the sushi but I sure do like that blue glass meandering stream. That is just beautiful!

Great restaurant, and my 7-year-old grandson loves it, too. I don't eat any animals, not even fish, but I fill up deliciously at Blue C Sushi.
Oh I like this! I love water features but they're too fussy to maintain at home. This is absolutely perfect since I love stone too! Wonderful idea.
This is an awesome photo! Very cool idea for landscaping. And I'd love to try the sushi restaurant. There's a floating boat sushi place in Japantown in SF which is lots of fun. Hmm, now I have a hankering for sushi!
I don't remember seeing that before. I will be there tomorrow and will keep a lookout!
