Here is the view of the Seattle evening skyline looking south from Gas Works Park over Lake Union. Yes, it was gorgeous! You can see a Duckboat and a fishing boat cruising about in the last light of a brilliantly sunny day. It is so nice to have the real feel of spring in the air and blossoms on the cherry and plum trees. You can see skies what the skies are like all over the world at Skywatch Friday!

Very impressive. Very nice perspective.
I love river images like this
Oh, that tender pink light suffuses this image and fills us with peace. Thank you.
This is so pretty Kim!
I hope you have a weekend that's just as lovely as your photo.
Great framing with the tree on the side. Looks like a calm day on the lake.
Happy Friday!
Beautiful image. Love the skyline.
That lovely branch gives us hope for spring. A beautiful image.

Ah, soooo pretty. Today was partially sunny here, hurrah. But we've got a way to go... This is a lovely photo that makes me second-home-sick.
Talk about a lovely shot. This is a beautiful scene!
Hmm, learning something here ... I had no idea there were cherry trees around Gasworks. The things I miss!
Don't you just love this weather? I rode up to Snoqualmie Falls this afternoon ... scouting trip for a group ride on Sunday. Imagine, spring in February. Hope the Ides of March don't bite us!! Have a good weekend, Kim.
Beautiful photo!
Cherry blossoms?! In February?!?! Good Lord. Meanwhile, it'll be June before D.C. thaws out and the cherry blossoms pop there. And over here, it'll be March before we see anything....
Love the evening light on this one, Kim. Very nice.
Thanks to each of you for your very kind comments. There was only one blooming tree at the park, plenty of hoards of swarming mosquitoes! That is something else the early spring weather has brought, so I'm glad you missed those, Chuck :-). Have a good ride. Janet, February is when spring usually comes to the west coast, and DC is having the winter we had here last year when they had to prolong the famed Skagit Valley Tulip Festival for the very late bloom into late April instead of March.

We really have to go taek the duck tour someday. We did the cruise through the locks once. They have ducks in Ketchikan Alaska, too.
