Kerry Hall, Cornish College of the Arts

If you wish to become an accomplished musician or dancer, this doorway might be the one to step through right into your dreams. Cornish College of the Arts is a highly respected school for performing and visual arts. This doorway into Kerry Hall of Cornish is located on Roy Street on Capitol Hill. (The visual and theater arts departments are in another location near Seattle Center.) The tile work on this (I think) 1915-1930 era doorway is beautiful and interesting. Kim,
Very nice. I like the flowers and the warm light coming in from the back.

Thanks for coming to my site, your always welcome.

As for posting everyday? Don't know if I'm up to that yet. Right now I utilize my photo archives of some of my best stuff and the occasional new image. I really enjoy telling stories with mine and am not always inspired of what to wright about. I do want to get out and get a lot more new images. The good thing is, even my old stuff is new to all of you! This really is a great creative outlet for me.

I don't think I ever saw that building when I lived up there.. even with spending time on Capitol Hill.
I love the sunlight shining through and hitting the steps. Nice.

Hi Kim,
What an elegant and charming entrance! I also looked at the details of the tiles on each side of the door. It's so aesthetic. For me it makes a huge difference to study in a nice place. The students are quite lucky! :-)

The roses are a nice touch and the rays of sunlite make the place inviting.
