This weekend marked the long anticipated grand opening of Seattle's Museum of History and Industry, now ensconced in its new venue, the old Naval Reserve Armory building in Lake Union Park. I was driving along Westlake last night and saw it lit up and glowing and just had to stop. Wonderful exhibits, beautiful space, a great cafe, and the Center for Wooden Boats right next door. A great destination, and its open tomorrow (New Year's Day) for a family day. Congrats to MOHI for realizing this goal! It's a beautiful renovation.

The night lights look wonderful. Can see why you had to stop and gaze. Happy New Year.
